Dear current appointed & elected officials,
Please review my written statements listed below -
It's crystal clear that current Rancho Mirage City Council members have corrupted the election process with their own self-interests to control city operations for their own political enrichment scheme of NOT allowing city residents to vote for their own elected official.
City Council members that voiced opinions such as:
1) Obvious choices were people who served the city for many years (Downs) 2) (Mallotto) nominating a woman because the position was previous fill by a woman. 3) Move to a new generation of leaders (Downs)
It's reasonable to consider that thoses listed remarks that were reportedly voiced from City Council members were potentially aspects of discrimination leveraged against other candidates that applied for that city council appointment. Other remarks that were voiced required individuals to serve Rancho Mirage city for years prior to being considered for that city council appointment appears to have been an unadvertised requirement from one City Council member.
Please consider that city council members have refused to disclose their process to select appointees to city and exteral organizations (absolutely NO transparency to city residents of that proccess). And it's likely City Council members ONLY appoint people they have a similar political connection or similar financial Interests with themselves.
As this Board is well aware, city councils refusal to correct a prior City Council recorded written meeting minute report, illstrates that the City of Rancho Mirage Council is unable to perform city operations with ethical standards and expected integrity. Exteral entries will be notified of the citys potential unlawful actions and what is seen as unamerican behavior toward long held election processes.
In closing, City of Rancho Mirage Community Culture Commission latest precived open
Public meeting was NOT posted as required by California State law. No listed meeting notifications (agenda posting) was listed on the Rancho Mirage City website. Simlar situations have been documented with Rancho Mirage City Council meeting(s) and other sub- committees. It's highly recommended to abandon the motivation to dictate unrealistic demands among residents of the City of Rancho Mirage, California while performing "unadvertised" precived open Public meetings and unethical city appointments.
