Re: Written letter to be entered in the Public record and made available for public Inspection for the November 21, 2024 of the Rancho Mirage City Council meeting - Agenda Item: 2 (element of collecting properties)
Dear current appointed & elected officials,
Please review my written statements listed below prior to the consideration of agenda Item:
2. (CP 22-378 Emergency Demolition of (4) properties located on Sunrise Court (APN:
684182002)
It's reasonable to consider that agenda Item: 2 that has been completed at the stated price to City Resident of Three Hundred and Seventy Three Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty One Dollars and seventeen cents ($373,881.17) was performed because of unsafe structure(s) located on that one City owned real estate property within the Citys boundaries.
It's very suspicious that the citys constructed staff report refused to identify the street address or that propertys location (Identification APN number(s)) of the demolished structures on that property listed in agenda Item: 2. It's reasonable to consider that City of Rancho Mirage have been purchasing real estate properties throughout that region of the city for yet to be completely disclosed reasons. Please consider open and transparent governance within Rancho Mirage city - The City of Rancho Mirage shouldn't be purchasing residential properties in mass allotments without full and open transparency of the intentions and well documented purpose for those unadvertised city funded real estate purchasers.
It's worth noting that those many different real properties that the City of Rancho Mirage have now purchase are not generating property taxes that they once did.
The city of Rancho Mirage have lacked accountability and now clear transparency to how they operate.
Sincerely,
Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270
