Re: Written letter to be entered in the Public record and made available for public Inspection for the November 21, 2024 City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting - Agenda Item: 5. (Public Hearing - User Fees)
Dear current appointed & elected officials,
Please review my written statements listed below prior to the consideration of agenda Item:
5 (Public Hearing) New proposed User fees.

The City of Rancho Mirage current governance have continued to increase all financial aspects of city operations. Those financial Increases included wage and benefit packages for City staff (grossly overpaid City Manager and the additional employment position of assistance City Manager) plus the self involved political maneuver of the City Council to increase their own pay and benefits at taxpayer's expense. The City's legal counsel has been allowed to control aspects surrounding how it conducts (law fair) against city residents and businesses within Rancho Mirage.

Other matters of concern with Rancho Mirages City operations in regards to how expensive the city is to operate, is its overtaxed residents and businesses within Rancho Mirage while the Citys reserve financial accounts are built with the intentions of looting them to give to City Council special Interests as they desire.

The City continues to overburdened it's residents and businesses with higher taxes and impose fees (user fees) while eliminating long established city departments and increasing the "top heavy" City administration staff's wages and benefits.

It's not reasonable to impose increasing fees when the city (Rancho Mirage) has exceeded a normal and reasonable financial amount for those listed services.

Furthermore, the City of Rancho Mirage's staff report failed to define "Self-Haul" weekly review fees. It's reasonable to consider that City officials desired to hide that definition and its ture reason to impose those type of "fees" to potentially harm residents that they have targeted for reprisal actions.

Sincerely,

Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Cc:
