Dear current City of Rancho Mirage selected & non-elected official (appointee), Please review my written statements listed below - along with the attached email dated November 22, 2024 (11:02 AM) addressed to City of Rancho Mirage rotating Mayor (Downs) and other City employees.
At a prior City of Rancho Mirage (November 21, 2024) City Council meeting unusual political maneuvers were deployed by City of Rancho Mirage representatives (Downs/Mallotto) that were unnecessary harmful and helped to illustrate a negative bias towards selected Individuals.
Please review my written statements listed within an email that's enclosed (November 22, 2024 - 11:02AM) that details aspects that were noticed and recorded in regards to City representatives poor performance and embarrassing conduct during a recent City Council meeting.
It's worth noting that City Council member (Mallotto) verbalize comments at the City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting (November 21, 2024) in regards to selecting a "Women" to be appointed to City Council - was in poor taste and helped to discredit other City Council Candidates that were potentially disqualified for that City Council appointment for simply being another gender (Men).
It's reasonable to consider that other actions that were taken by City Council member Mallotto maybe influence by her self proclaimed ambitions to use her authority to advance Women over Men in selected political appointments.
Furthermore, City Council member Mallotto direct involvement (appointed Board of Trustees member) with the Palm Springs Cemetery District (PSCD) has and will be a potential conflict of interest with her duties as a City of Rancho Mirage Council member. It's worth noting that Rancho Mirage City contacted legal counsel (Steve Quintanilla and associates) is currently employed by the PSCD as their legal counsel.
Both Mallotto and the legal firm Quintanilla and associates should resign their positions with PSCD while working for the City of Rancho Mirage, California. (Conflicts of interest that are verified and or assumed by the general public should be eliminated).
Please don't take any reprisal actions against my private property or person for supplying public testimony (written statements) that are true and accurate.

Dear current Rancho Mirage rotating Mayor (Downs),
As an observer and active public partispate at yesterdays (11/21/2024) Rancho Mirage City Council meeting, I noticed your willingness to divert (adding unapproved additions) to that public meeting - those additions were not posted on that meeting agenda. It's reasonable to expect City officials to follow the posted meeting agenda. Please refrain from similar self involved political maneuvers at future city conducted Public meetings.
I was very disappointed that you used your rotating Mayor position to once again sprue political dribble towards two (2) recent City Council election candidates that didn't receive the
required (accessible) votes required to take a city council seat. It's very unique and unusual that entrenched council person (Weill) and selectively chosen newly anointed council person (O'Keefe) have enlisted you as their official spokesperson - It's highly recommended to abandon your motivational desire to rule over City Residents and your attempts to "crush" (potential slanderous remarks) of your precived enemies (political candidates and prior city council person) while using City of Rancho Mirage resources to fund those negtive ambitions. It's extremely embarrassing to once again have an Illegitimate council appointment procces conducted within Rancho Mirage governance lead by a prior beneficiary of such a radical political maneuver.
Conflicts of Interest have been highlighted lately within City political maneuvers (city council action). Please be reminded that you and other seated Rancho Mirage Council persons are potential suspect to similar allegations of self enrichment. Please discontinue marketing your private sector business (Downs Team - [email protected]) activities to my private residence within the Great City of Rancho Mirage, Riverside County California.
Please refrain from taking any reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this accurate summary of City of Rancho Mirage activities.
