Attention: Clerk of the Board /
Re: Written letter to be entered in the Public record and made available for public Inspection for the December 19, 2024 (1:PM) City of Rancho Mirage Council (and other self-appointed organizations) Public meeting - Agenda Item: 8.1 (Proposed Implementation of obligation payment scheduled (ROPS) and administrative budget for fiscal year 2025-2026) Dear current Elected and Appointed City Council members, Please review the written statements listed below prior to the consideration of Agenda Item: 8.1 (administrative Budget asigned to (ROPS) payment scheduled for fiscal year 2025- 2026)
As of the writing of this letter No Resolution Number have been asigned to the City of Rancho Mirage Council acting as Successor Agency to the former Rancho Mirage Redevelopment Agency, proposed Resolution to impose precived Administrative costs of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00).

It's reasonable to consider that the City of Rancho Mirage (public officials) have continued to retain controlling elements of the former Redevelopment Agency for the sole purpose of imposing and collecting precived Administrative costs.

Please consider acting in the best Interests of Rancho Mirage Resident's by completely dissolving Rancho Mirage's former Redevelopment Agency resources.

Please be advised, with the elimination of resources of the former Redevelopment Agency the city could consider other undesirable methods of subversion techniques to gain financial resources from City Residents through schemes such as Enhanced Infrastructure Financing Districts (EIFD's) and their counterpart Public Financing Authorities (PFA's).

Sincerely,
Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Cc:
