(January 16, 2025 City Council written recorded meeting minutes) Dear current Elected and Appointed City Council members, Please review my written statements listed below prior to the consideration of agenda Item:
one (proposed request for council approval of January 16, 2025 regular (written) meeting minutes).
This letter (e-mail) is in opposition of this organization (City of Rancho Mirage) approving the City Council's meeting minutes of January 16, 2025 as written.
As this Board (City Council) is aware, the City's action of eliminating the citys long established history of recording verbalize public testimony (written meeting minutes) at city of Rancho Mirage public meetings in the summary formatted procedure have been Installed.
It's reasonable to consider that the January 16, 2025 City of Rancho Mirage Council recorded written meeting minutes were prepared with biases against public speakers (non-agenda public comment) by not illustrating (accurate recording) the speakers spoken topics. It's highly recommended to recognize and record public verbalize testimony in the same matter that has been done with city council members verbalize statements of that very same meeting. if the City desires to continue with the (titled: Action Minutes) procedures in the future, its necceary to avoid the clearly displayed discriminatory practices of censorship among public testimony provided during public meetings held under the city of Rancho Mirage authority.
Please correct the January 16, 2025 City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting minutes to accomplish an accurate description of the verbal testimony given by all participants at that public meeting.
Please don't take any reprisal actions against my private property or person for stating the above listed facts.
