(Resolution (non-listed #) PUBLIC HEARING - Via Vail Apartments Project, Bond Issuing) Dear elected and appointed City of Rancho Mirage Council members, Please review my written statements listed below prior to the consideration of agenda Item:
8 (proposed Tax-Exempt Revenue Bond(s) Issuing for Rental complexes (Via Vail Apartments Project - Rancho Mirage Pacific Associates, LP) This letter (e-mail) is in strong opposition to the City of Rancho Mirage continuous implementation of city resources/Influences in support of the Via Vail Apartments Project - Rancho Mirage Pacific Associates, LP scheme.
It's worth noting that this unique project (Via Vail Apartments) was brought forward to City Residents by a "Special" City Council meeting and major financial sacrifices from City held resources. Compiled with the request to have City officials (City Council) approve the Issuance by the California Municipal Finance Authority (CMFA) of Tax-Exempt Revenue Bonds for the proposed financing of a Multiple unit Rental complex. Having this project (Via Vail Apartments) become established (and or continued) will cost City of Rancho Mirage Resident's and Businesses millions of dollars for yet to be determined - true intentions for City of Rancho Mirage council members to impose such a burden on taxpayer's within the City of Rancho Mirage, Riverside County, California.
