Re: Written letter to be entered in the Public record and made available for public Inspection for the March 6, 2025 (1:PM) City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting - Agenda Item: 6. (Review City funded wireless proposed master plan)
Dear current Elected and Appointed City Council members, Please review my written statements listed below prior to the consideration of agenda Item:

6. Of the city funded proposed wireless communication master plan.

Position: In opposition
As this body (City Council) is aware, city resources were expelled to a private sector business for information (data) that was already easily obtainable and available through city contractors/vendors and city businesses. It's reasonable to consider that City officials have taken meaningful steps to discredit Cellular carriers good faith efforts to conduct business in the Coachella Valley region (City of Rancho Mirage). It's shameful that City officials have chosen to directly assault cellular carriers with unfounded accusations of "blaming the city for potential coverage gaps while marking their coverage maps inaccurately". It appears that city officials once again have decided to support "yet to be identified" special Interests over private sector businesses that have supported and build the City of Rancho Mirage, California.

It's well established that the City of Rancho Mirage had purchased and installed a mass surveillance system to have exteral organization(s) monitor city residents and guests activities within City boundaries.

It's reasonable to consider that having this aspect (wireless communication master plan) of constructed information (data) delivered to City of Rancho Mirage officials and subcontractors will help to increase the Citys ability to monitor and or participate (undetected) within the daily activities of the region's population.

It's highly recommended to abandon the intrusion of City officials into the private sector businesses that are the backbone of America's success.

Sincerely,

Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Cc:
