Re: comment in regards to Agenda Item: 10.A (repeated Roll Call) Dear current Elected and Appointed City Council members, It's very much appreciated that the City of Rancho Mirage administrators have recently decided to be as precise as possible in regards to addressing how Items/topics are arranged (printed) on current City Council meeting agenda(s). It's recommended that other governmental agencies such as the Greater Palm Springs tourism board meeting agendas consider replacing their bullet points with numbered agenda Items as this governmental body has.

It appears that possibility the organization of "City Clerks Association of California" may have conspired to bring accountability to how governmental agencies detail agenda Items/topics in written formatted documents (meeting agendas). Combined with how Rancho Mirage City Council complied with a recent recommendation from it's contracted city clerk to abandon the citys long held and well established method of (Brief Summary meeting minutes protocols) of recording verbal testimony given during it's public meetings. As this written statement have demonstrated, it's very likely that verbalize public testimony at city conducted public meeting(s) now has the ability to cover different topics of discussion solely because of the city's desire to censor public speakers verbal testimony through it's authority to construct it's written meeting minutes as they desire (censorship techies). It's reasonable to consider that public speakers will have the freedom to address the legislative body as they wish - with the knowledge that city officials will NOT record their spoken testimony accurately or at all within official city records.

It's reasonable to consider that a secondary Roll Call (Agenda Item: 10.A) may be needed if Rancho Mirage City Council members desire to exit close session proceedings prior to its conclusion (Which has been witnessed on other occasions by this resident) but - ONLY known to the general public through an official announcement from that governing body - If NOT witness by the general public in attendance.

Please don't take any further reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of city activities.

Sincerely,
Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Cc:
