Re: Written statement (comment) in regards to Agenda Item: 4 (Council Member comments/reports)
Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, Please be advised, during the April 3, 2025 City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting a request was made to the legislative body to provide verbal testimony on that meeting agenda Item: 4 (City of Rancho Mirage Council member comments/reports). It was decided by progressive elements (city manager/council) to restrict that public speaker to providing public testimony before ANY information was released by that council of the topics of discussions pertaining to that agenda Item.
A request was made by the speaker to be heard after the council released it's comments/reports, the city council refused to allow the speaker that reasonable request.
Please be made aware, that the City of Rancho Mirage released (pending approval) meeting minutes of the April 3, 2025 City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting had NO mention (redacted/eliminated) information that a public speaker had addressed the City Council during agenda Item: 4 (City Council Comments/Reports).
It's reasonable to consider that City officials have decided to impediment censorship techniques with its official recording procedures (Meeting minutes). And have taken radical political maneuvers to censor (reduce and or eliminate) the public's ability to retain official city held reports prior to selected agenda Items being considered (discussed) by the current City of Rancho Mirage Council.
Please consider ethical standards that would eliminate the current City of Rancho Mirage officials willingness to operate in a less than honorable fashion.
Please don't take any further reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions
