Re: Written comment in regards to Agenda Item: 5D. (Demands) Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, It was noticed that the April 17, 2025 City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting (Agenda Item: 6C. - Demands) appears to have mirrored selected demands of the City of Rancho Mirage (Agenda Item: 5D. - Demands) of May 1, 2025 City Council meeting.

It's highly recommended to correct that potential unlawful action (or oversight) of repeatedly misrepresenting the citys demand ledger for city council official approval on different occasions (public meetings) without full disclosure (public announcement) of that repeated action.

It's reasonable to consider that several allotments to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for selected services should be disclosed in open session of city council meeting(s) for FULL public disclosure.

Also other undesirable expenditures from city resources (medical reimbursements/additional life insurance/recruitting services, ect...) should be recognized in open session so full details could be released for public disclosure.

It's highly likely that the City of Rancho Mirage could "Easily" afford the "Cost" to hold a local election to select (from desirable candidates) a city council member but simply choose NOT to. It's reasonable to consider that the current City Council has exceeded their authority (extreme overreach) with it's desired to select an acting City Council member by mandate (appointment) by that usually governing body.

Please don't take any reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions.

Sincerely,

Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Cc:
