Re: Written testimony in regards to Agenda Item: 3A
Dear current elected and appointed City of Rancho Mirage Council members, As you are well aware, the current rotating Mayor decided to follow instructions and call a special session of every board that the city of Rancho Mirage council claim to represent. The stated pupose was described as:
A special study session in regards to preliminary budget for fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026- 2027 (agenda Item: 3A).
It appears that the City of Rancho Mirage Council have again decided to limit the citizens ability and opportunity to have insight and knowledge of city operations.
Absolutely NO other information (Staff reports/documents) were accessible for public disclosure as the writing of this communication in regards to Agenda Item: 3A.
It's reasonable to consider that a workshop meeting would have documents constituting of the proposed topic of discussion.
It's recommended to allow the general population the same information thats supplied to each elected and appointed City Council members prior to the scheduled Public meeting event.
