Re: Written testimony in regards to Agenda Item: 4B. (written meeting minutes of May 1, 2025 City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting)
Dear City of Rancho Mirage,
It's reasonable to consider that city officials have become complacent and have abandoned any notion to conduct city business with integrity and ethical standards in regards to recording written meeting minutes of verbalize public testimony provided during public meetings held under it's authority without undue influence to censor public testimony that was provided.
Please consider corrective action in regards to the listed inaccuracies listed below:
1) Agenda Item: 3. City officials refused (again) to detail that public testimony (speaker:
Brad Anderson) was restricted from obtaining agenda Item: 3 city controlled information (documentation/video/verbal comments) prior to being instructed to provide public testimony. 2) Agenda Item: 5. City officials refused (again) to detail selected consent calendar agenda Item(s) and stance(s) that were openly stated (supplied) by public speaker: Brad Anderson 3: Agenda Item: 8A. City officials refuse to allow public speaker: Brad Anderson the opportunity to listen to the citys (legal counsel) verbal report prior to being forced (instructed) to supply public testimony.
It's highly recommended to abandon the motivation of city officials to censor public testimony thats supplied during public meetings held under city of Rancho Mirages authority.
Please consider that extreme measures of censorship techniques Impedimented by city officials have compromised good governance and proper documentation of official public record(s). City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting agenda Item: 5A. (Zoning Text Amendment Case No. ZTA25-0001) have recorded inaccuracies in regards to: Repealing and Replacing Chapter 17.32 (Wireless Communication Facilities) of Title 17 (EXHIBIT "H").
Public testimony was received by (Brad Anderson) during the April 24, 2025 (2:PM) City of Rancho Mirage Planning Commission meeting (Agenda Item: 6C. PUBLIC HEARING).
Those verbalize public comments were NOT recorded and NO Stance was recorded within written meeting minutes of those official proceedings.
It's absolutely clear that PUBLIC HEARINGs are treated just as poorly as other city controlled public meeting proceedings with censorship techniques to potentially disenfranchise public involvement during public meeting(s) and had clearly impacted the accurately of recorded records of city of Rancho Mirage, Riverside County California public meetings (PUBLIC HEARING).
It's currently my understanding that city officials desire individuals to review recorded meeting videos (Private sector business: YouTube channel) to obtain any further information thats Not recorded within the OFFICIAL public record of City Council and Planning Commission meeting(s).
Please don't take any further reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions.
