Re: Written comment in regards to Agenda Item: 4. (Current City of Rancho Mirage Council members un-agendized predetermined comments/reports and un-agendized video presentation)
Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, It's been repeatedly demonstrated that City of Rancho Mirage officials have been actively attempting to censor public testimony along with denying best practices protocols of California State "open public meetings" from being followed within City construction precived open public meetings held under it's authority.

It's nonsensical of city officials - current rotating Mayor (Weill) and current city manager (Hagerman) to demand public testimony (agenda Item: 4) prior to any released information (comments/reports form city council members) being submitted for public consumption.

It's reasonable to consider that city officials will continue to use their authority to cloud transparency of city operations. Please review my listed opinions of council members comments/reports from privous public meetings that public testimony was denied during those proceedings prior to receiving council members comments/reports listed below.

City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting of May 15, 2025
1) Non-Elected City Council member: Fromberg Edelstein verbal statements.

Having witness many newly created governmental employees (appointed/elected city council persons) attend their first official governmental agency meeting(s). It was noticed that they appear to be overwhelmed by their newly constructed authority/Influence over the everyday resident. It's reasonable to consider that those newly appointed members would believe "All" the propaganda weaved information that agencies such as (Coachella Valley Association of Government - CVAG) would attempt to sell to uneducated/undereducated individuals that view those and similar agency meetings.

In regards to her shared Information in regards to WHO NOT TO BLAME for weather related (911) communication failures was troubling. That un-elected official appeared to be campaigning for the citys propaganda attempt to have ONLY the city manager approved

MORE wireless network facilities throughout the city and in residential neighborhoods without allowing residents and businesses the opportunity to protest and or know of thoses high voltage communication networks being installed potentially next-door to unknowing residental community members.

Common sense should dictate that communication technology would be operated through major (private) organizations and not local city governments. 2) formally appointed and currently elected city council member: Downs statements.

It appeared that council member Downs felt compelled to defend his potential business Interest located within Section 31 (private development).

Having myself witness the "business" of the government agency of Coachella Valley Mountain Conservancy (CVMC) it was noticed that private properties (tax revenue) were being removed from the Valley with governmental agencies conspiring with other organizations to "potentially" accommodate a narrative that those "collected" properties would be secure. Of course it's alarming that special considerations were put in place to seek out private properties that have tax burdens (Riverside County unpaid tax levys and FEE'S) placed upon them. And (CVMC) have an unfair advantage over the private sector and other non-profits in inquiring those tax burden private properties with having FIRST RIGHT to purchase those Greatly reduced properties before ANY other potential bidder (potential purchaser). It's reasonable to consider that Riverside County Tax departments may have an undisclosed Intrested in allowing (CVMC) to operate in it's current method.

The haphazard checkerboard makeshift style of how (CVMC) have inquired private property throughout the Coachella Valley region is nonsensical and extreme. It appears that potential propertys that were obtained may have benefited it's neighbors and or other interested observers. And of course, the environmental impact that (CVMC) inquired and managed properties had over the Coachella Valley air quality should be studied and recognized.

It appeared that (Downs) comments were intended to confuse the general public over how selected pieces of real estate are used and other organizations (CVMC) could be (was) mentioned to subvert the publics attention away from areas that could be financially beneficial for selected Individuals and developers (Council members - Section 31). 3) formally appointed and currently the longest installed council member: Weill's verbal testimony and city supply video presentation.

It was clear that (Weill) statements were intended to promote Eisenhower Medical Center and other unidentified individuals.

It's reasonable to consider that Eisenhower Health care campus is a great benefit for our city and the entire region. Political elements continue to paint city of Rancho Mirage officials in a bad light - mainly because of the lack of character and fading honesty and poor ethical standards that city officials have embraced.
4) current city council member: Mallotto statments.

Of course (Mallotto) remarks on section 31 developer (development) having sold houses build was potentially slanted towards her desire to profit from real estate purchasers that may interact with her official city council position and her private (other real estate employment sales position).

Rotating Mayor (Weill) was happy to chime in with his remarks that mirrored (Mallotto) sales pitch.

Please reconsider any reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions in regards to council comments/reports.

Sincerely,
Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Cc:
