Re: Written testimony in regards to Agenda Item: 5.E (Zoning Text Amendment Case No.

ZTA25-0001 - precived Omuibus Ordinance)
Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, Position: in complete opposition
Please be advised that this item wasn't addressed properly as a "public hearing" item during the May 15, 2025 City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting (Agenda Items: 5A) verbal staff announcement. Written documents (public comments) were not verbally addressed during city staff report for city councils consideration and or the general publics best Interest of being informed. Public (In-Person) verbal testimony wasn't detailed in it's entirety on citys of Rancho Mirage's recorded meeting (written) minutes (No Stance of the public speaker was listed/recorded).

It's reasonable to consider that the City of Rancho Mirage Council and it's administrative staff have failed to follow California State regulations and best practices protocols in regards to conducting public hearings held under it's authority. Other city governments (Indian Wells) may have been monitoring Rancho Mirages ability to subvert the public's best Interests with similar ambitions to impose potential legislation (Omuibus Ordinance) to mandate city control over private sector companies (Wireless Communication facilities) that may desire to enter there city boundaries.

It's clear that city officials have decided to support special Interests over the residents that support city operations. All prior proceeding of city constructed public meetings (public hearing) need to be voided and rescheduled if able.

Sincerely,
Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270
