Attention: Clerk of the Board
Re: Written letter in regards to Agenda Item: 8. (Non-Agenda public comment) Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, Please be advised that having a requirement (suggestion) that individuals with a disability contact the city clerk (k. Ramos) FOURTY EIGHT (48) HOURS in advance of the selected city event for a request for reasonable accommodations is noticeable insensitive to the requestor(s). It's reasonable to consider that reasonable accommodations for disabled people could/should be obtained within minutes of notification.
Please be reminded that city of Rancho Mirage officials (administration/city council) have taken radical political maneuvers to reduce and or eliminate public testimony being recorded accurately within written meeting minutes of city conducted public meetings.
Pleaae also be reminded that city of Rancho Mirage administrators have conspired to disenfranchised public testimony during City of Rancho Mirage public meeting(s) by making an unannounced movement of items listed on meeting agendas (moving Non-Agenda public comment towards the end of council meetings from the long city established method of having non-agenda public Comment towards the beginning of city council meetings).
Having individual city council members (Downs) speak and submit their own personal opinions on behalf of the whole of the city should be discouraged within media networks. It's recommended that the current rotating Mayor (Weill) present himself as the official representative for media networks reporting (if he's capable).
It's been demonstrated that the organization (Special District) Desert Healthcare District (DHCD) openly confessed that advertising was purchased in a local media publication because of negative reports that were printed of (DHCD) operations. It's clear that the city of Rancho Mirage has mirrored (DHCD) unflattering avenue of buying favorable media reporting and acces with taxpayer's resources.
Please reconsider any reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions.
Sincerely,
Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Cc:
