Re: Written letter in regards to Agenda Item: 5. (Consent Calendar - A, B & C) Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, Please review my written statements listed below prior to the consideration of each agenda Items as listed.
1) Agenda Item: 5.A (Written meeting minutes of June 5, 2025) Its recommend to NOT approve the supplied written meeting minutes as submitted. Public speaker was denied the opportunity to review city council member comments/reports prior to being required to submit verbal testimony (agenda Item: 3). Public Comments were censored of critical details (all agenda Items that had public testimony).
Public Hearing Item: 6.C refrained from listing public comments received in writing. 2) Agenda Item: 5.B (Updating (AGAIN) 2025 city salary scheduled) Its reasonable to consider that city officials designed this agenda Item to secure financial resources for the city manager in an expedited matter.
3) Agenda Item: 5.C (Demands)
It's been repeatedly demonstrated that city approved "demands" were privous approved during recent City Council meetings. It appears that certain ledger entities were adapted to limit/eliminate descriptions.
It's reasonable to consider that the city of Rancho Mirage Councils approval of TWO MILLION DOLLARS ($2,000,000.00) for Eisenhower Health Foundation didn't mention another funding contribution of THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($300,000.00) that was released on the same date.
It's reasonable to consider that city residents would be Intrested in details of the citys willingness to expel local resources that were not mentioned to taxpayer's.
Please don't take any reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions.
