Re: Written testimony in regards to agenda Item(s): 5.A. / 5.B. / 5.C. / 5.I.
Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, Please review my written statements listed below prior to the consideration of each agenda Items as listed.
1) Agenda Item: 5.A. (request to "waive" full reading of introduced/adopted ordinances) It's highly recommended to abandon the motivation to potentially accommodate a narrative of deceit in regards to non-disclosed of easily obtain information for public Inspection with the verbalize reading of the citys desires to impact residents and businesses.
Due to current City Council members desired to cloud transparency of city operations it's reasonable to publicly announced city business in an open and transparent manner. 2) Agenda Item: 5.B. (Zoning Text Amendment Case No. ZTA25-0002) It's reasonable to consider that city officials are ONLY driven to profit from extreme measures from using city resources (precived code compliance services) to burden city residents and businesses. It's reasonable to consider that the burdens of extreme "penalties" impose by city officials are unreasonable.
3) Agenda Item: 5.C. (Written July 17, 2025 regular city council meeting minutes) It remains clear that city of Rancho Mirage officials are willing to perform unethical actions by NOT abiding by honorable governance in regards to recording written verbalize public testimony provided during public meetings held under it's authority. 4) Agenda Item: 5.I. (Continued updates for city salarys) It appears this agenda Items as listed was assigned for the recent city clerk (K. Ramos) wage
and benefit increase. It's critical that the official public record reflects that the City of Rancho Mirage legal counsel puposely neglected to follow California State regulations and best practices protocols in regards to the City of Rancho Mirage's council meeting when this subject was discussed (July 17, 2025). Public disclosure of agenda Item was NOT provided before public speaker (testimony) was instructed to be provided. Criminal activity of public officials should be avoided - consider ethical standards when representing the residents and businesses of Rancho Mirage, CA.
Please don't take any reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions.
Sincerely,
Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA.
