Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, Please review my written statement listed below prior to the consideration or discussion of agenda Item: 3.A. by this very unique body of elected and appointed City Council members.
It's remarkable that another "Special" city constructed/controlled public meeting was called by city officials within days of the regular scheduled City Council meeting conclusion. Please be advised that this called and noticed public meeting was ONLY designed to address the "Rancho Mirage City Council" and NOT the many other self-proclaimed bodies that current City Council members claim to represent (Please limit any stipends and or financial burdens of city resources).
Please be aware, that absolutely NO written documented reports (statments) were made available to city residents (general public) in regards to topic (agenda Item: 3.A.) of the City of Rancho Mirage Council Special Study session meeting scheduled for February 24, 2026 at the unusual start time of 11:AM. to date.
It's reasonable to consider that any and all related information in regards to Agenda Item: 3.A. will be distributed during proceedings of the Special Study session meeting scheduled for February 24, 2026 at 1 1:AM to persons (Including City Council members) in attendance during that unique and unusual political maneuver (meeting).
As this unique and unusual body is aware, NO City Council ACTION will be taken or directed during the February 24, 2026 City of Rancho Mirage "Special Study session" Council meeting.
It's critical that discussion item (Agenda Item: 3.A.) be "fully" presented before public testimony (Agenda Item: 2.) is mandated by city officials in regards to topic (Agenda Item:
3.A). The current agenda Item alignment reflects how city officials desire to limit Public participation and discourage public testimony during city functions.
Please consider demonstrating ethical standards when representing the residents and businesses of the once great city of Rancho Mirage, Riverside County California.
Refrain from any reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting an accurate summary of concerns and opinions expressed.
