Re: Written testimony in regards to Agenda Item: 6.A. (Master Plan scheme - amphitheater venue)
Position: In Opposition
Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, It's alarming that current City Council members have expelled city resources (again) to study business aspects that are currently available and easily accessible.

It's critical to mention that many city residents do NOT share community trust of the exsisting Rancho Mirage model of the city operational system.

Its reasonable to consider that having a precived non-profit organization manage the City owned event venue would be suspicious and predictable. It's clear that recently performed taxpayer's funded "improvements (removal of family homes) surrounding the "White Water Park" location and the compromised networking scheme to sell (under valued) real properties (water well/pump site) and easements to nearby private sector business (golf course) was detailed at a much earlier date and the proposed "Master Plan" scheme is a piece of the puzzle to allow city residents to pay more for nothing, while most city residents will NOT benefit from the city's desires to support special Interests.

Rancho Mirage appears to be a compromised company town - where city residents are expected to fund poor leadership from elected and unelected bureaucrats.

City of Rancho Mirage financial reserves have been mismanaged with the intent to support special Interests that support current council and administrators.

It's clear that MORE community outreach is needed before impacting community members with BAD planning (policys - proposed Master Plan scheme).

It's reasonable to consider that city officials will continue to cause distrust of city residents

with moving this agenda Item forward (predictable).

Please don't take any futher reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions.

Sincerely,
Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Cc:
