Re: Written testimony in regards to Agenda Item(s): 5.A, and 5.C.

Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, Please review my written statements listed below prior to the consideration of each agenda Item as listed.
1) Agenda Item: 5.A. (proposed approval to censor Public testimony received during May 21, 2026 regular city council meeting)
Position: In Opposition
ALL verbalize public testimony provided during the May 21, 2026 regular scheduled City Council meeting was censored of any detail of topics discussed or consent calendar agenda Items detailed for verbal comment.

It's also worth noting that public speaker (Susan Ragsdale - AGENDA ITEM: 7. NON- AGENDA PUBLIC COMMENTS) had her submitted documents stricted from public disclosure in the easy to access city operated website position that other submissions are disclosed for public Inspection (review).

Please consider ethical standards and moral values while serving city residents - It's highly recommended to return to open transparency in regards to recording verbalize public testimony (written meeting minutes) provided during public meetings held under the authority of city officials.

Simply, public testimony supplied during city public meetings are critical for historical value - such as questions and comments posed by a public speaker towards an active investigation potentially held against current City of Rancho Mirage Council person (Steven Downs) that was mentioned during City of Rancho Mirage Council meeting of May 21, 2026 during Agenda Item: 7. NON-AGENDA PUBLIC COMMENTS by a concern and active participant. 2) Agenda Item: 5.C. (Demands)
Please consider cost savings measures that selected city residents are expected to abide too

(for their survivor). Continued Implementation of poor management practices and protocols of Rancho Mirage City officials will continue to cause distrust from city residents and guests against city administrators .

It's reasonable that additional "Keys" for two newly inquired city vehicles should've been predetermined and not billed to city residents (around $1000.) Plus staff time and fuel for an unknown reason.

A Penny saved and not wasted would allow many city residents to continue fostering a higher level of living in the Rancho Mirage Community while NOT funding an out of control city administration.

Please don't take any further reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions expressed.

Sincerely,
Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Cc:
