Re: Written testimony in regards to Agenda Item(s): 5.B., and 5.E.
Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, Please review my written statements prior to the consideration of each agenda Item listed in open session.
1) Agenda Item: 5.B. (June 18, 2026 regular city council written meeting minutes) Position: In Opposition
As this unique body of elected and appointed City Council members are well aware, the June 18, 2026 recorded written meeting minutes are inaccurate and incomplete as presented.
The unlawful actions to censor verbal testimony supplied during public meetings held under City of Rancho Mirage authority continues to be unethical and embarrassing to monitor.
Corrective action should be recognized and administered. 2) Agenda Item: 5.E. (Demands as detailed by city administrators) It's highly recommended to abandon expelling city resources at an alarming rate. It appears that precived non-profit organizations have benefited greatly from city council members recently. It's reasonable that such "PAYOUTS" should be published and publicly announced to city residents that are most likely unaware of city resources being given away (friends of city council members).
Again - it appears unusual that ex-city council member (deceased) would have the ability to have city officials continue to have individual payment arrangement adapted for a surviving senior family member of a FOREVERMORE expenditure of city resources. It's recommended that an open public announcement be performed to explain that City process for that ONE person.
Please refrain from any futher reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions expressed.
