Re: Written testimony in regards to Agenda Item: 6.A. (Proposed Service District creation - Vista Del Sol, No. 31-26)
Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, Please consider reviewing the enclosed statements before converting to your predetermined decision to be recognized as a unique and unusual political driven united council.
Position: In Opposition
As a non-weighted ballot holder in this selected election of affected properties (Vista Del Sol areas). It's critical to mention the city's desires to expelled city financial resources to accompany the expedited construction of the proposed development (projects).
It's reasonable that opposition should be recognized from every city resident that voices their opinion to City of Rancho Mirage officials.
Property owners that are affected by this proposal should be advised that simlar unpleasant projects maybe favoring selected Individuals over others. And costs assessment from city officials appear to be excessive and will continue forevermore (most likely).
It's worth noting, that the "private" meeting that City officials constructed on the date of August 6, 2026 at the city's library (time of meeting is unknown to this individual) for affected properties was NOT advertise to other Intrested parties. It's reasonable to consider that city resources were expelled in an extraordinary extreme measure and puposely deemed all other City residents and businesses as non-affected by that proposal. (AGAIN) Please be advised that this individual , that will be financially burdened by this proposal (if approved) repeatedly states my opposition to this financing scheme as presented.
Please refrain from any futher reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions expressed.
