Re: Written testimony in regards to Agenda Item: 7.A. (JPA - CVAG bylaw amendment/Tribal Nations)
Dear current elected and appointed City Council members, It's reasonable to consider that Coachella Valley Association of Government (CVAG) and the City of Rancho Mirages Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) "arrangement" with that unique organization has benfited selected Individuals throughout the Coachella Valley region.

It's critical that Tribal Nations (Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians) be recognized and recorded accurately for their participation in unique and unusual political organizations such as (CVAG). But it's very necceary that local governmental agencies (Cities) continue with having ONLY legislative body members associated with serving the will of that (CVAG- JPA).

Please be advised that reducing active members shouldn't be considered. Local organization, Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District (CVMVCD) revised their finance committee bylaws to ONLY THREE members appointed out of the ELEVEN members available. That organization claimed a (3) member board would assist with establishing attendance. Please don't consider following the corrupted aspects associated with CVMVCD appointees operational system.

CVAG administrators have long struggled to have Tribal members participate with that organizations mandates and extream measures. ONLY if Tribal Nations (First Nations) are willing to partispate with CVAG and other parties (City of Rancho Mirage and others) should measures be adapted to accommodate those parties (Tribal Nations).

Please refrain from any futher reprisal actions against my private property or person for reporting this true and accurate summary of concerns and opinions expressed.

Sincerely,

Brad Anderson | 37043 Ferber Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270 Cc:
