Subject: RE: Wireless Item Tonight's City Council Meeting Hi Dale,
The City Council recognizes the urgency to improve wireless coverage throughout the City including upper The proposed code amendments are intended to help facilitate carriers to install new wireless facilities through a streamlined process without compromising aesthetics and quality of lite.

That said, the City's limited on how much we can do since wireless installations are dependent on the carriers willingness to invest in the City.

We are trying to make it happen.

Thank you.

I really wanted to point out that the First Responder issue is health and safety for the public, not just convenience of residents that lack landline acces. Perhaps the LASD participant can expand on their needs.

Thank you. Will watch the video of tonight once it's posted to the City's website.

EXTERNAL EMAIL: Do not click links or open any attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe!!!. 2 My apologies for late writing. I just saw the SWF item for tonight's meeting and I won't be able to participate but wished to add one consideration.

I live near the top of Crest Road East by the San Pedro Hill FAA site. Our community gets erratic cell coverage - moving even a hundred yards can make a huge difference.

FIRST RESPONDERS - LAFD and LASD routinely are unable to contact their networks when on site at a neighbor's home. Could your team please ask their input on what might be done to meet their needs in serving our emergencies?
Thank you.

Dale Spiegel
