The City Council Chambers are fully open to the public in compliance with current guidelines from the California Department of Public Health regarding indoor meetings.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kristen Schreder with the following Council Members present: Mark Mezzano, Erin Resner, and Julie Winter. Council Member Michael Dacquisto was absent.
Also present were: City Manager Barry Tippin, Assistant City Manager Sheri DeMaagd, City Attorney Barry DeWalt, City Clerk Pamela Mize, and Executive Assistant Luisa Klapperich.
PRESENTATIONS
2A. Light display of Ukrainian flag colors on the Sundial Bridge deck.
City Manager Tippin summarized the Report to City Council (staff report), incorporated herein by reference.
A MOTION WAS MADE by Council Member Mezzano, seconded by Council Member Resner, to a uthorize the light display on the Sundial Bridge deck to project Ukraine’s national flag colors, yellow and blue, beginning March 7, 2022, and continuing for an indeterminate amount of time in support of the Ukrainian people.

ABSTAIN: Council Members – None
ABSENT: Council Members – Dacquisto
