NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Redding City Council i s hereby called by the undersigned and under the authority vested in her by Section 54956 of the Government Code of the State of California. The meeting is to take place at the date, time, and location listed above.
This meeting will include teleconferen ce participation by Council Member Michael Dacquisto (Government Code Section 54953). In addition to the meeting location above, members of the public may participate in the meeting from the following teleconference location:

A court challenge to action taken by the City Council on any project or decision may be limited to only those issues raised during the public hearin g or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council during, or prior to, the public hearing.
If anyone wishes to address the City Council on any item considere d at this meeting before or during Council’s consideration of that item, please fill out a blue Speaker Request Form, located in the lighted alcoves at the back of the Council Chambers, and submit it to the City Clerk. The City Council will allocate up to a maximum of three minutes per speaker for each agenda item. Staff reports are available on-line at the City’s web site at www.cityofredding.gov or in the Public View binder located on the podium at the north side of the Chambers.

2.1. Public Hearing to consider adoption of two resolutions regarding the comprehensive update of the City of Redding General Plan 2045 and Final Environmental Impact Report.
Recommendation:
Conduct a Public Hearing and, upon conclusion:
(1) Adopt Resolution: (a) certifying the Final Environmental Impact Report ; (b) approving and adopting the Findings of Fact and Statement of Overriding Considerations; and (c) approving and adopting the Mitigation Monitoring Program; and
(2) Adopt Resolution approving the City of Redding General Plan 2045 and repealing the City’s 2000-2020 General Plan.
3. ADJOURNMENT
Pursuant to the Brown Act, non -confidential materi als related to an item on this agenda submitted to the City Council after distribution of the agenda packet are available for inspection during normal business hours at the Office of the City Clerk, 3 rd Floor, City Hall, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, California.
