Dear Leaders
I regret that I missed the meeting last time, but am very interested in the city sharing our beautiful Historic Library and other public assets, with our residents to enjoy. There are so many possibilities when we become visionaries for quality of life here in Redondo. As I might have mentioned, I was needing a space for our family reunion. Started me thinking about the padlocked Library that has a “Community Center” sign.

Rather than an exclusive lease to one company, how about if we keep a short list of excellent, trustworthy caterers that can offer special events when the public is not using the library? There was a recent conversation on Redondo Beach Facebook that brought out lots of good ideas. Maybe the city could consider a survey of residents for input, like we are having for the waterfront and new residential guidelines.

Thanks So Much For All You Do
