AN INITIATIVE ORDINANCE TO (1) ALLOW A MAXIMUM OF THREE CANNABIS RETAILERS IN REDONDO BEACH; (2) REPEAL THE CITY'S PROHIBITION ON
COMMERCIAL CANNABIS ACTIVITY (EXCEPT FOR DELIVERIES OF MEDICINAL
CANNABIS) AND ALLOW THE CITY COUNCIL DISCRETION TO LEGALIZE OTHER CANNABIS USES; AND (3) IMPOSE OPERATIONAL, DESIGN, AND LOCATION REQUIREMENTS ON SUCH BUSINESSES.

1, Eleanor Manzano, City Clerk of the City of Redondo Beach, California, do hereby certify that:
The initiative petition for a ballot measure (Ordinance) to regulate cannabis retailers and activity and allow the City Council discretion to legalize other cannabis uses; and impose operation, design, and location requirements on such businesses was filed with the City Clerk's Office on December 13, 2021;
That said petition consists of 937 sections;
That each section contains signatures purporting to be signatures of qualified electors of the City of Redondo Beach, California;
That attached to this petition at the time it was filed, was an affidavit purporting to be the affidavit of the person who solicited the signatures, and containing the dates between which the purported qualified electors signed this petition; That the affiant stated his or his own qualification, that he or she had solicited the signatures upon that Section, that all of the signatures were made in his or her presence, and that to the best of his or her own information and belief, each signature to that section was the genuine signature of the person whose name it purports to be; That after the proponents filed this petition and based on the County of Los Angeles Registrar of Voters' Signature Verification Letter of Finding; I have determined the following facts regarding this petition;

Based on the above, the petition is deemed to be sufficient.
