Hi Todd, Nils and Bill,
Todd - Thank you for the notification. I cannot make the meeting tonight. However, please (Todd or Nils) forward my comments to be read and entered in the the record...

Comment re: proposed housing on the AES Site is below...

Dear Mayor, Council and staff,
We went through this 20 years ago with the "Heart of the City" that was defeated and largely rebuffed by the public.

To visit and/or support this again is an insult to the public for the following reasons:
1) We like our quality of life and what remains of our small town feeling. 2) There are special interests who always find ways to try to get such projects approved as there is LOTS of
money to be made from such exploitations.
3) ANYONE on the council or staff who might support such an effort should be terribly embarrassed to be seen
suggesting or supporting such an issue. This is contrary to years of Redondo public behavior at the ballot box.
4) Even since the prior effort, new significant issues have arisen, including Global Warming (PC term is Climate
Change), affordable housing issues, and over0crowding and overuse of our infrastructure.. Anyone who does
not reconsider this suggestion should explain to their community, their family, and their children why they put
profit of a few ahead of the well-being of the community, state, and even planet. 5) It is imperative that you ALL quash this suggested project, immediately. 6) I will later take note on who supported this project tonight, and be sure that all constituents and other entities
where you might see to "serve" the public (?) are aware as well.

Thank you for allowing me to comment.

property, and would fill our streets and cause our schools, Beryl, Parras, and RUHS, to overflow even more.

There have been at least 4 public votes before city residents, all with citizens objecting to development, in preference of open space, parkland (the only permitted use) and restoration of the wetlands. You have resoundingly said NO to more development at AES…
Come speak at our Council meeting tomorrow and let your voice be heard. No more residential development on the AES property.
