This letter validates that the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority is self-insured for Public Liability for the first $7.5 million dollars of each liability claim.
This letter also validates that the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority is a fully self-insured employer for Workers’ Compensation claims in California. We comply with all reporting requirements mandated by the Department of Industrial Relations self-insurance plans.
