RESOLUTION NO. CC-2204-018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A RENEWAL
OF THE GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR FISCAL YEARS 2022-2027
WHEREAS, the City of Redondo Beach ("City") and the County of Los Angeles ("the County") entered into a General Services Agreement (the "GSA") for the performance by the County of general services within the City; and WHEREAS, the current GSA between the City and County (collectively "parties") expires on June 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to renew the GSA between the City and County; and WHEREAS, the GSA authorizes the County to provide services for public entities, specifies the method by which the City requests and pays for the services, and provides the annual adjustment of rates for those services; and
WHEREAS, the GSA benefits the City and the County by providing timely access for temporary or one-time services; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Redondo Beach Mayor and City Council authorize renewal of the General Services Agreement with the County of Los Angeles commencing July 1, 2022, and continuing through June 30, 2027.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and shall enter the same in the Book of Original Resolutions.
