FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR LEGAL SERVICES
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF REDONDO BEACH
AND
McCUNE AND HARBER LLP
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
Amendment ") is made between the City of Redondo Beach, a chartered municipal corporation ( "CITY ") and McCune and Harber LLP, a California Limited Liability Partnership ( "ATTORNEY ").
WHEREAS, on December 15, 2009 the parties hereto originally entered into that certain Agreement for Legal Services between the City and Attorney ( "Agreement "); and WHEREAS, CITY and ATTORNEY desire to amend the Agreement pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereby agree to make the following amendments to the Agreement:
1. Compensation: Compensation to be increased from $175.00 to $225.00 per hour for partner attorneys. Add compensation for associate attorneys at rate of 180 per hour and $85 per hour for paralegals and law clerks.
2. Modification: Except as expressly set forth herein, the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. The Agreement together with the First Amendment constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any previous oral or written agreement. In the event of any inconsistency between this First Amendment and the Agreement the terms of this First Amendment shall prevail. This First Amendment may be modified or amended only by a subsequent writing executed by all of the parties and approved by the City Council.
