A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE SALARY
RANGE FOR THE FINANCE DIRECTOR POSITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 2-3.1002 and 2-3.1003, and Sections 2-3.1102 and 2-
3.1103 of Chapter 3, Title 2 of the Redondo Beach Municipal Code, the salary ranges for certain Management and Confidential employees of the City of Redondo Beach shall be set forth from time to time by Resolution of the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the salary range for the Finance Director position will be increased to be from $10,246 to $14,492 per month effective January 1, 2023.
WHEREAS, this resolution will update the salary range for the Finance Director that will allow the City of Redondo Beach to remain an attractive employer; and WHEREAS, said amendment is not binding until approved by the Mayor and City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the salary range for the Finance Director position in the Pay and Benefits Plan for Management and Confidential Employees of the City of Redondo Beach shall be increased to be from $10,246 to $14,492 per month, effective January 1, 2023.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and shall enter the same in the Book of Original Resolutions.
