EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Pursuant to closure of the continued public hearing and City Council adoption of Resolution No. CC2211-092 submitting to the voters a ballot measure to add a cannabis taxation ordinance on the March 7, 2023 General Municipal Election ballot, the City Council is also asked to adopt an associated resolution regarding Council actions necessary pertaining to the written arguments, rebuttals, and impartial analysis as I advised the City Council at their Regular Meeting of November 1, 2022. If the ballot question changes, Council is asked to authorize revision of this Resolution title to reflect the title change. I assigned Measure CT as a spaceholder; it may be noted that the same letters were used in 2014 for the City Treasurer ballot measure revising the City Charter. Council may desire to select a different letter designation. The City Council, upon adoption of Resolution No. CC2211-094, are also asked to designate the author(s) of the written arguments.
