RESOLUTION NO. CC-2301-110
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE
TEMPLATE SINGLE BICYCLE STORAGE PERMIT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TRANSIT MANAGER TO EXECUTE
THE PERMITS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Redondo Beach (“City”) will replace the existing transit center with a modernized multi-modal transportation facility that will provide improved amenities and services for transit passengers and transit service operators; and WHEREAS, the new City Transit Center located at 1521 Kingsdale Avenue, Redondo Beach, CA 90278, as part of its amenities, will have twelve bicycle storage lockers; and WHEREAS, the City desires to issue permits for the use of the bicycle storage lockers to individuals at the new City Transit Center; and
WHEREAS, the City will require each individual who desires a bicycle storage locker to apply for a locker and execute the attached Single Bicycle Storage & Permit (the “Permit”); and WHEREAS, to streamline the process, the City desires to grant signature authority to the City Transit Manager or designee to execute the Permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Redondo Beach approves the Single Bicycle Storage & Permit, attached hereto as Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. That the City of Redondo Beach grants authority to the City Transit Manager or designee to sign the Single Bicycle Storage & Permit in substantially the same form as Exhibit A, for all individuals who apply for a bicycle storage locker.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council, and the City Clerk shall certify the vote adopting this resolution.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and shall enter the same in the Book of Original Resolutions of said City and shall cause the action of the City Council in adopting the same to be entered in the official minutes of said City Council.
