FROM THE OPEN HOUSE AUGUST 2022 MEETINGS ON THE GREEN LINE). I ALSO MADE THESE COMMENTS TO REDONDO CITY COUNCIL ON JAN 3. Note:
At the Lawndale city council meeting on Dec 19, I made some remarks about the latest Metro diagrams (i.e. from the open house August 2022 meetings on the Green Line) . I also made these comments to Redondo City council on Jan 3. I would like to repeat some of the remarks tonight at the planning commission.
Please put diagrams in Blue Folder.

2 Note: On top diagram, the pieces are 14+ 31 + 36 = 81 ft, indicating a need for an 81 ft wide ROW.
On the lower (trenched) diagram, the pieces are 10 + 38 +31 = 81 ft, indicating a need for an 81 ft wide ROW.
Note: The actual width of the Metro ROW at this point in Lawndale (south of 170th to Artesia) is 75 ft. 81 ft is greater than 75 ft, meaning that these latest and greatest diagrams of the freight train and the LRT from Metro (August 2022) SHOW THEIR DESIGN WILL NOT FIT.
