TITLE
DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL OF COMMENTS ON
METRO C LINE EXTENSION DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
SUMMARY
The City Council has requested input from the Public Works Commission, Planning Commission, and Public Safety Commission regarding the Metro C Line Extension Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR). The DEIR for the Metro C Line Extension project was released by Metro on January 24, 2023, and staff subsequently distributed links to the document to the Public Works Commission.
This agenda report includes as attachments information on the project as provided by Metro, as well as prior letters issued by the City Council to Metro on the project. Staff will provide a brief presentation at the meeting and support preparation and forwarding of any comments the Commission should choose to make following public input.
