A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
A Special Meeting of the Redondo Beach City Council was called to order by Mayor Brand 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber, 415 Diamond Street, Redondo Beach, California.

E. 1. APPROVE AFFIDAVIT OF POSTING FOR THE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING OF MARCH 24, 2023

Motion by Councilmember Horvath, seconded by Councilmember Emdee, to approve the Consent Calendar, as presented. There being no objections, Mayor Pro Tem Nehrenheim so ordered.
F. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS ON CLOSED SESSION ITEMS AND NONAGENDA ITEMS - None G. RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION: 6:02 p.m.
Motion by Councilmember Nehrenheim, seconded by Councilmember Obagi, to recess to Closed Session at 6: 02 p. m. to conduct Closed Session attended by City Manager Mike Witzansky, City Attorney Mike Webb, Assistant City Attorney Cheryl Park, Waterfront and Economic Development Director Greg Kapovich and Outside Legal Counseb John Welner and Antony Nash. There being no objections, Mayor Brand so ordered.

J. ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS
City Attorney Webb reported City Council approved a settlement in all three cases; noted the City of Redondo Beach will pay $2 million to Redondo Beach Waterfront, LLC and in exchange, all cases will be dismissed with prejudice, and all counter claims. In addition, CenterCal and Redondo Beach Waterfront, LLC will renounce any and all alleged rights arising from the project entitlements in any and all alleged rights against the City.

L. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council, motion by Councilmember Emdee seconded by Councilmember Horvath, to adjourn the meeting at 6:23 p.m. There being no objections, Mayor Brand so ordered.
