On April 19, 2023, the City Clerk received notification from Commissioner Hinsley requesting an excused absence for April 20, 2023, Planning Commission Meeting for personal reasons.
On April 24, 2023, the City Clerk received notification from Commissioner Arrata requesting an excused absence for April 24, 2023, Public Works Commission for personal reasons.
On April 24, 2023, the City Clerk received notification from Committee Member Gaddis, requesting an excused absence for April 27, 2023, Charter Review Advisory Committee Meeting for business reasons.
On May 1, 2023, the City Clerk received notification from Commissioner Carlson, requesting an excused absence for May 8, 2023, Harbor Commission Meeting for personal reasons.
On May 2, 2023, the City Clerk received notification from Commissioner Zaremski, requesting an excused absence for May 17, 2023, Historical Commission Meeting for personal reasons.
BACKGROUND
As of September 3, 2019, the City Council authorized the City Clerk to revise the policy pertaining to requests for excused absences, whereby Board Members and Commissioners are required to communicate impending absences directly to the City Clerk for processing.
