Hello Everyone,
I am emailing you all to request the pride flag be flown in the month of June. I understand there is a group of people in the community who are against this. These are the same people that complained about the librarian having a pride sticker on her door and who want a pro-life flag as if it’s in any way comparable to a pride flag. These people are ridiculous.
I think we need to be a forward thinking community and show support for our LGBTQ+ neighbors and friends.
Thank you,
Mariam P. Butler
District 4 Resident

I hope what I read on Facebook is untrue and there's really not a question about flying the Pride flag in Redondo Beach?
I am a resident and mother of 4 young girls, and shocked that our community has people that would be against this. Please help our community practice and teach our young tolerance and acceptance.
The hate is absolutely disgusting....
Kind regards,
Aly Liang

Hello,
I am writing in support of flying the Pride Flag in Redondo Beach! I heard for some reason this is in question this year? That’s crazy to me! I’m a resident of Redondo Beach and I’d like to ensure the Pride Flag flies as usual. Please let me know if you need additional information or comments.
Thanks,
Rebecca Abraham
