FOR APPOINTMENTS TO THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH BOARDS
AND COMMISSIONS
Procedures:
A. Conduct the applicant interviews; and
B. That Councilmembers submit recommendations for appointments to the Mayor by Wednesday, August 9, 2022; and
C. That the Mayor to make Commission appointments at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, August 22, 2022; and
D. That the City Clerk administer Oath of Office to new and reappointed Commissioners at the City Council Meeting of September 12, 2022, or before each Commissioner begins their term at the October Commission Meetings.

Why do you think you should be appointed? What is your background, training, or educaiton which would qualify you as a candidate?
I have wanted to be involved in Redondo Beach since I moved here over a decade ago. I understand that the Harbor Commission needs a member of the State Bar of California.
What do you see as the objectives and goals of commissions? Enhance and improve the city for its residents and visitors alike, while ensuring safety.
How would you help achieve the objectives and goals of the commission? I pride myself on being practical, logical, and unbiased. I would bring that to the commission. I possess a unique background. As a resident, I understand the goals and desires of the citizens of Redondo Beach.
However, I remember what it was like to be a visitor before I moved here. I remember what it was that I saw in this great city that got me to plant roots. I now have a family here.
What hobbies or special interests do you have?
I am an avid golfer. I play on a softball team. I also play tennis with my wife. When not doing those activities (and not working), I can be found grilling or spending time with wife, my baby girl, and our dog, Rocket!
