6:00 PM - OPEN SESSION - REGULAR MEETING
A. CALL TO ORDER
A Regular Meeting of the Redondo Beach City Council was called to order by Mayor Brand at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 415 Diamond Street, Redondo Beach, California.
B. ROLL CALL
Councilmembers Present: Behrendt, Kaluderovic, Nehrenheim, Obagi, Mayor Brand Councilmembers Absent: Lowenstein
Officials Present: Laura Diaz, Records Management Coordinator C. SALUTE TO THE FLAG AND INVOCATION
Mayor Brand led in saluting the flag followed by a moment of silence.
PRESENTATIONS/PROCLAMATIONS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
Councilmember Nehrenheim announced the International Surf Festival.
Councilmember Kaluderovic reported attending the L.A. County Mental Health Summit and announced the District 3 community meeting on Wednesday, July 26th at 6:00 p.m. at the Galleria Leasing Office.
Councilmember Obagi spoke about the recent District 4 community meeting and thanked Public Works representatives for attending.
Councilmember Behrendt announced that Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell will host a Racial Justice Learning Exchange event, Saturday, July 29th at Dockweiler Beach.
Mayor Brand encouraged the public to contact him or their respective Councilmembers with questions or concerns.
E. APPROVE ORDER OF AGENDA
Motion by Councilmember Nehrenheim, seconded by Councilmember Obagi, to approve the order of the agenda. There being no objections, Mayor Brand so ordered.

G. BLUE FOLDER ITEMS - ADDITIONAL BACK UP MATERIALS
G.1. For Blue Folder Documents Approved at the City Council Meeting One Blue Folder Item was reported.

Motion by Councilmember Obagi, seconded by Councilmember Nehrenheim, to receive and file Blue Folder Items, as presented. There being no objections, Mayor Brand so ordered.

H.1. APPROVE AFFIDAVIT OF POSTING FOR THE CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING OF JULY 25, CONTACT: ELEANOR MANZANO, CITY CLERK
H.2. REGRETFULLY ACCEPT THE RESIGNATION OF COMMISSIONER DANIEL MARINELLI FROM
THE PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY CLERK TO POST THE
VACANCY

N. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION PRIOR TO ACTION
N.1. MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL CONDUCT APPLICANT INTERVIEWS FOR
APPOINTMENTS TO THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS Procedures:
A. Conduct the applicant interviews; and
B. That Councilmembers submit recommendations for appointments to the Mayor by Wednesday, August 9, 2022; and
C. That the Mayor to make Commission appointments at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, August 22, 2022; and
D. That the City Clerk administer Oath of Office to new and reappointed Commissioners at the City Council Meeting of September 12, 2022, or before each Commissioner begins their term at the October Commission Meetings.

There being no further business to come before the City Council, motion by Councilmember Nehrenheim, seconded by Councilmember Kaluderovic, to adjourn the meeting at 9:00 p.m. to an Adjourned Regular meeting to be held at 4:30 p.m. (Closed Session) and a Regular meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. (Open Session) o Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in the Redondo Beach City Hall Council Chambers, 415 Diamond Street, Redondo Beach, California. There being no objections.
