1 FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR CROSSING GUARD
SERVICES
This FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR CROSSING GUARD SERVICES (the “Agreement”) is dated April 5, 2022 and is between the CITY OF REDONDO BEACH (hereinafter called the "City"), and ALL CITY MANAGEMENT SERVICES, INC., a California corporation (hereinafter called the "Contractor").
WITNESSETH
The parties hereto have mutually covenanted and agreed as follows:
A. On August 3, 2021, the parties originally entered into the Agreement for Crossing Guard Services between the City and Contractor (the “Agreement”); and
B. This First Amendment is for the existing term of the Agreement.
C. The Parties wish to increase the not-to-exceed amount of the agreement by $25,000, from $57,823 to $82,823. As such, section 14 of the agreement shall be amended to read as follows:
“14. The City of Redondo Beach agrees to pay the Contractor for the Services rendered pursuant to this Agreement the sum of Twenty-six Dollars and Seventy-seven Cents ($26.77) per hour, per Crossing Guard during the term. Crossing Guards will be on site no more than three (3.0) hours per school day and shall be compensated for four (4.0) hours per day. Based upon 2,160 hours billed annually, Contractor’s compensation for the initial term shall Not to Exceed $82,823. Contractor shall not bill for any period where Contractor fails to perform services.” D. NO OTHER AMENDMENTS. Except as expressly stated herein, the Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect. The Agreement and this First Amendment constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any previous oral or written agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms of the Agreement, and this First Amendment, the terms of this First Amendment shall prevail.
