A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING
$36,315 FROM THE HARBOR DREDGING PROJECT
TO THE PIER DECORATIVE SCULPTURE SAILS
PAINTING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Redondo Beach’s adopted budget needs to be modified to appropriate monies from fund balances for necessary expenditures; and WHEREAS, the City’s Capital Projects Fund contain monies available for improvements of City infrastructure, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a Capital Improvement Project to repaint the decorative sails located on the Redondo Beach Pier, but sufficient funds are not available in the project budget, and
WHEREAS, there are excess funds available in the budget for the Harbor Dredging Project, and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the following funds are hereby appropriated to cover the cost of the Pier Decorative Sculpture Sails Painting Project.

SECTION 2: Pursuant to Section 11(f) of the City Charter, the City Clerk is hereby directed and instructed to correct the budget records of said City for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 in accordance with the above modification.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution, shall enter the same in the Book of Original Resolutions of said City.
