EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Robert Half Inc. (Robert Half) will provide staff support to complete the implementation of several key information technology projects including the 2023/2024 refresh of computers and laptops, copiers and printers, and uninterruptable power supplies on an as-needed/hourly basis. The services will accelerate execution of these projects which are necessary to bring usability, reliability, and cybersecurity improvements to the City. Robert Half comes highly recommended and has partnered successfully with the City on several prior initiatives.

BACKGROUND
On July 18th, 2023 the City Council approved the purchase of a new fleet of desktop computers, laptops, desktops, displays, and uninterruptable power supplies for all City departments. The City has since worked to upgrade several prerequisite systems and develop a master configuration for all devices. As such, the Information Technology (IT) Department is now prepared to begin accepting delivery of the new computers.

With 18 sites and more than 1200 devices to unbox, configure, and replace, staff augmentation is necessary to supplement the IT Department’s current staff to ensure the efficient deployment of the new hardware. The City expects the project to continue through June 30, 2024.

COORDINATION
Information Technology staff coordinated directly with Robert Half and the Human Resources Department to develop the Agreement, which was approved as to form by the City Attorney’s Office.

FISCAL IMPACT
The cost of the implementation is funded from the Information Technology Internal Service Fund FY 2023-24 adopted annual budget. The total not to exceed amount of the Agreement is $34,999. The total possible cost is based on the upper range of hours anticipated for the project.
