Thank you for coming to see our Outdoor Homeless Court and Pallet Shelter Transitional Living location today.
As we discussed, I am attaching a proposal highlighting the unmet need of our efforts to increase the number of Pallet Shelter units from 20 to 45. We have been full since the location first opened three years ago and we always have people on the waitlist. Increasing the number of units will immediately provide housing to people living on our streets.
Please let me know if you need any additional information. As you know, our City Council will be deciding on whether to go forward with this project on Tuesday (before the price per unit doubles) so any information you can share regarding the likelihood of getting funding before Tuesday at 3:00 pm will be very helpful to them in making their decision.
Best regards,
Michael W. Webb
