ADOPT BY TITLE ONLY RESOLUTION CC-2401-003, RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. CC-2308-075
APPOINTING DELEGATES AND ALTERNATES AS OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CITY TO EXPIRE ON JUNE 30, 2024
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On January 9, 2024, it was brought to staff’s attention that the South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG) has a meeting scheduled for January 25, 2024 in which the Delegate, Councilmember Zein Obagi, Jr. is unable to attend. The Alternate, Councilmember Scott Behrendt has recused himself from, and is thus unable to partake in, the discussion of an agenda item related to the Metro Line scheduled to be discussed at the SBCCOG meeting.
The attached Resolution allows for an appointment to fill the South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG) Alternate position, as needed.
COORDINATION
The City Attorney approved the Resolution as to form.
