Monday 8AM TO 9AM is a big improvement from 7 AM.
Currently, the staff park all over the neighborhood while staff parking areas are underutilized The staff and students are filling up the streets before filling up available school parking areas.
Council, please only approve with contengencies that the city will obtain agreement from RuHS that they will send communications to direct staff and students to park correctly and improve utilization of staff parking areas.
We need help from our city representatives to minimize these band-aid changes to overuse public resources.

As a parent of a RUHS student, I support a change to the street sweeping schedule that will prevent students from leaving campus during the school day to move their cars into the neighborhood to avoid being ticketed, whether that is the Monday at 8am option or the Thursday at 7am option. Thank you to city staff, RBUSD and Athens Services for working together to find a great solution.

As a resident on Guadalupe between Diamond and Carnelian, I am in support of the proposed time change for street sweeping to allow for better utilization of the street for parking.
