According to the listing, BCHD is a "hospital". That has not been accurate since 1984 when the publicly owned hospital closed. If the District needs to be rebilled at a different rate, please take this as a formal notice from a taxpayer to do so.

Hello,
I’m writing to implore you to pass a ceasefire resolution. At this point, it doesn’t even matter what side you’re on there is only one side: the side of humanity. A manufactured famine is not self-defense. Every day children die of starvation. There are 35,000 orphans in Gaza right now, 17,000 of whom have lost or been separated from all relatives and who have no one to take care of them. 99% of these children are starving.

What kind of an acceptable foreign policy is this?? Please stand on the right side of history and call for a ceasefire.

Thank you,
Concerned resident,
Nasiha

Dear City Council of Redondo Beach,
It is of the utmost importance people of conscience use their privilege to speak up for the oppressed.

Over 30,000 innocent lives have been cut short. Right now, 2.3 million people are at risk of death by starvation and infection due to lack of basic necessities, including food, clean water, and medical aid. The humanitarian crisis that is unfolding in Gaza is far worse than anyone could imagine to happen in the year 2024.

Most of the population in Gaza are women and children. The effects of this war on innocent civilians is catastrophic and will impact those who survive for generations.

Please do the right thing, Redondo Beach should stand for justice and join the many other cities like Long Beach, Santa Ana, and San Francisco and call for a permanent and immediate ceasefire.

A life long Redondo Beach community member,
Ameera Azzam
